Located about 9 miles SE of Fort Garland and about 5 miles from Colorado Highway 159, this parcel is flat with nice views toward the Blanca Massif.  The San Luis Valley is to the west and south while the Sangre De Cristo mountains are to the east and south-east.  This lot would qualify for an SDCR well permit which has special water rights to water trees, flowers, and a small garden.  The well permits for 5 acre parcels in most of Costilla County are much more restricted.  There are 7 good size pinon trees and two open areas with native grasses. 

 Directions: From Fort Garland head south on Colorado 159 for about 4 miles to Mile Marker #29 and turn left on County Lane 6. Head east for about three miles and go straight across the intersection. Continue on Juarez for about 1.5 miles; pass Bateman and then turn left on the next road which is Yablon. Zero odometer as you turn on Yablon.
